- A person on a low-carbohydrates diet also avoids dairy products and could potentially become deficient in calcium and vitamin D.
What is the sensible way to lose weight and stay healthy? It goes back to the tried and true: Eat healthy foods in moderation, and stick to a regular exercise program. As the saying goes: DIET is a four letter word. It’s best to stick to the tried and true and not the latest fad diet.
