My ultimate goal with my clients is to give them the tools and education to make being healthy and strong a lifetime pursuit. If a client doesn’t apply what I have shown them after they stop working with me, then I have failed. My workouts are fun, efficient and get you in the best shape of your life!

My health and fitness journey started as a young child with a very active young mother and her health-conscious friends. Growing up, I participated in anything fitness-related I could get my hands on including baton twirling, roller skating, gymnastics, dance and cheerleading, wrestling management, track, swimming, and more!

I became a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for the first time in 1991 and am currently an Elite Personal Trainer. I have over 25 years of experience in the fitness and wellness arena. I have a Degree in Exercise Physiology and am also an Integrative Health Coach specializing in the following:

  • Weight Loss Management
  • Behavioral Change
  • Nutritional Coaching
  • Corrective Exercise
  • Virtual Coaching

  • Down Syndrome/Autism
  • Elderly
  • Multiple Sclerosis

Donna Eldridge, Certified Personal Trainer, Fort Collins

I started my fitness journey in high school with volleyball and softball athletics, and my love for fitness has continued ever since. I have over 15 years of certification experience in one-on-one personal training and group coaching along with nutrition counseling. I also am certified as a specialist in exercise endocrinology. I have worked with all age ranges and my training has included special populations. As a female personal trainer, I also bring an unique perspective to my female clients when training them for their individual goals.

I was inspired to join the fitness industry after reflecting on the value and lessons I learned working with a personal trainer of my own. My approach to training relies heavily on the fundamentals of functional training including movements from the actions of daily life that are unique to each individual. My aim is to help find the types of exercises and lifestyle changes that are exciting, manageable and shape a path to achieve goals.

My philosophy on fitness encompasses all facets of wellness to help you become the best version of yourself that you can be. My passions are training and fitness, and I absolutely love helping people smash through their goals and live their best life!

Client Testimonials

Dennis is the best personal trainer ever...truly! After a few workouts, I was doing things I didn't even know I was capable of! I will never train with anyone else. If you're looking for someone to take your money and go easy on you, Dennis is NOT your guy. However, if you want a serious trainer that will work you to your fullest potential and help you meet your goals, give Dennis a call. Not only have I lost weight as a result of his workouts, but, my flat tummy is back! Woohoo! Thank you Core Fitness!!!

At the age of 23, I was diagnosed with POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). Which meant that any form of physical exercise would prompt dizziness and the occasional fainting. Whenever I stood up too fast or got out of bed, I'd get lightheaded and dizzy. As a very active, young individual, not being able to hike, play sports with friends, or make simple positional changes made life very frustrating. Most importantly, for my dream career I needed to get SCUBA certified, but was unable to do so with my condition.

My doctor recommended that I seek out someone to help me with consistent and graduated physical activity to strengthen my cardiovascular system. That's how I came across Dennis Blair and he does a great job creating a plan to help me progress with my physical activity. He is exceedingly thorough and thoughtful when it comes to my specialized training plans. We went from simple exercises on the ground to standing and jumping! I've been working with Dennis for roughly 1 year now and, WOW, what a difference it has made. Dizzy spells and lightheadedness are now infrequent and I've been able to get back into rock climbing, riding my bike, moderate hiking, and get out of bed in the morning. Plus, I am so close to being cleared for SCUBA diving! I could never have gotten to this point without Dennis.

I am so grateful for Dennis and his dedication to helping me get back to the active lifestyle I once had lived and working towards my dream job.

Thank you, Dennis!!

At the ripe old age of 64, I knew I needed to do something to ward off the effects of being undisciplined with my diet and physical activity most of my life. With a strong recommendation from a friend who had had incredible results working with Dennis for a couple years, I knew it was an opportunity I could not turn down:) Now after two years with Dennis as my personal trainer coaching me through 2 workouts per week, I can testify I have not only lost weight, but, more importantly, I am stronger in all areas of my body! The strengthening has allowed me to do things I could not do before (i.e. walking all over New York City). Dennis was sensitive to where I was when I started with him, and, he designed a program personalized to what I needed and wanted. He is encouraging, professional and gets results because he expects results!
