Dennis Blair

Dennis Blair, Certified Personal Trainer and Specialist in Performance Nutrition

I started Core Fitness and Nutrition in 2003 with the intention of helping people live happy and healthy lives through fitness and nutrition. This is my passion and my purpose in life. Whenever a client accomplishes their goals, it still gives me goosebumps after all these years!

Since 2003, I have trained a whole host of people. I have trained people for:

  • Weight loss
  • Extreme weight loss
  • General fitness
  • Functional fitness
  • Hiking fitness
  • Athletic competitions
  • Bodybuilding

I also have a great deal of experience with training people with various physical limitations. I have worked with people with the following limitations:

  • Knee and hip replacements
  • Knee injuries
  • Shoulder injuries
  • Spinal cord injuries and fusions
  • Strokes (both cerebral and spinal)
  • Traumatic brain injuries
  • Heart failure
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Autonomic dysfunction/Postular Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome

I have also worked with kids as young as 10 and as old as 93!

My ultimate goal with my clients is to give them the tools and education to make being healthy and strong a lifetime pursuit. If a client doesn't apply what I have shown them after they stop working with me, then I have failed. My workouts are fun, efficient and get you in the best shape of your life!

Donna Eldridge, Certified Personal Trainer, Fort Collins

I started my fitness journey in high school with volleyball and softball athletics, and my love for fitness has continued ever since. I have over 15 years of certification experience in one-on-one personal training and group coaching along with nutrition counseling. I also am certified as a specialist in exercise endocrinology. I have worked with all age ranges and my training has included special populations. As a female personal trainer, I also bring an unique perspective to my female clients when training them for their individual goals.

I was inspired to join the fitness industry after reflecting on the value and lessons I learned working with a personal trainer of my own. My approach to training relies heavily on the fundamentals of functional training including movements from the actions of daily life that are unique to each individual. My aim is to help find the types of exercises and lifestyle changes that are exciting, manageable and shape a path to achieve goals.

My philosophy on fitness encompasses all facets of wellness to help you become the best version of yourself that you can be. My passions are training and fitness, and I absolutely love helping people smash through their goals and live their best life!
